                                   INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 
                                                 AUGUST - 2026 

  
Maruthi Vidyalaya celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with great patriotism and enthusiasm on 15th August 2026. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and Vande Mataram, filling the atmosphere with a sense of pride, unity, and national spirit.    

Students presented a variety of cultural programmes, including patriotic songs, speeches, and dances, highlighting the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the values of freedom, unity, and national integrity. The performances reflected the students’ love for the nation and their appreciation of India’s rich heritage. 

A Quiz Competition was also conducted to enhance students’ knowledge of India’s freedom struggle, national symbols, and the significance of Independence Day. The enthusiastic participation of the students made the event both educational and enjoyable.   The Head of the Institution addressed the gathering and encouraged the students to uphold the ideals of our great nation through discipline, responsibility, and dedication. 

The celebration served as a reminder of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and inspired everyone to contribute positively towards the progress of the country.   The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving all present with renewed patriotic spirit and pride in being citizens of India.                   


                                   EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIPS 
                                           AUGUST - 2026    


Maruthi Vidyalaya organized educational field trips for students of different classes to provide experiential learning opportunities beyond the classroom.   Students of Std-I to IV visited Richard's Park, where they enjoyed a day filled with recreation and outdoor activities. The visit helped them develop social skills, teamwork, and an appreciation for nature in a fun and engaging environment.    
Students of Std-V to VIII visited the HAL Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum. The museum offered fascinating insights into the history of aviation and aerospace technology in India. Students explored various aircraft, exhibits, and displays, enriching their understanding of science, technology, and innovation.    

Students of Std-IX and X visited the renowned Kotilingeshwara Temple, one of Karnataka’s significant spiritual and cultural landmarks. The visit enabled them to learn about the temple’s history, architecture, and cultural importance while appreciating India’s rich heritage and traditions.    

These field trips provided students with valuable learning experiences, broadened their knowledge, and created lasting memories. The visits successfully combined education, exploration, and enjoyment, making them meaningful and enriching for all participants.           


                         NATIONAL LIBRARIAN'S DAY CELEBRATION 
                                                     AUGUST - 2026    


Maruthi Vidyalaya celebrated National Librarian's Day with great enthusiasm to recognize the invaluable contribution of librarians in fostering a love for reading and learning among students.  The programme highlighted the importance of libraries as centres of knowledge and lifelong learning. Students participated in various activities that promoted reading habits and encouraged them to explore the world of books. Teachers spoke about the role of librarians in guiding students towards knowledge, creativity, and academic excellence.    

The occasion also served as an opportunity to express gratitude to the school librarian for their dedication, support, and efforts in maintaining a vibrant learning environment. Students shared their experiences of how books and the library have enriched their learning journey.    

The celebration inspired students to develop a regular reading habit and appreciate the vital role libraries play in education and personal growth


          BHARAT SCOUTS AND GUIDES Bengaluru North District
  Banaswadi Local Association Thrithiya Sopan Testing Camp

Eleven Scouts and six Guides from Maruthi Vidyalaya participated in the Thrithiya Sopan Testing Camp organized by the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Bengaluru North District, at Doddaballapur from 8th June to 11th June 2026. The camp provided an excellent platform for students to strengthen their scouting and guiding skills through various activities such as hiking, campfire sessions, practical training, and assessment tests. Throughout the camp, the participants displayed discipline, teamwork, leadership qualities, and a strong spirit of service. The enriching experience helped the Scouts and Guides build self-confidence, responsibility, and essential life skills. The camp concluded successfully, leaving the participants with valuable learning experiences, lasting friendships, and cherished memories.

International Yoga Day
June - 2026

 



 Maruthi Vidyalaya celebrated International Yoga Day on 20th June 2026 with great enthusiasm and fervour. The programme was conducted under the expert guidance of Yogashri Vardhaman Kalasur. Students from Std. I to Std. X actively participated and performed various yoga asanas with dedication and discipline. The session highlighted the importance of yoga in promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and inner peace. Adding to the spirit of the occasion, Headmistress Smt. Padmavathy M. and Assistant Headmistress Smt. Chithra N. also participated in the yoga session, motivating the students through their active involvement. The celebration served as a meaningful reminder of the benefits of yoga and inspired everyone to adopt yoga as a part of their daily routine for a healthy and balanced lifestyle. 

Founder's Day Celebration

June 2026

Maruthi Vidyalaya celebrated Founder's Day with great reverence and gratitude, honouring the vision, dedication, and enduring legacy of its Founder Secretary, Smt. Saroja Ganesh. The occasion served as a reminder of the values and principles that continue to guide the institution in its pursuit of excellence. The celebration was graced by the presence of President Shri Bhattu Ganesh Sir.


The celebration brought together the teaching and non-teaching staff from all three wings of the institution. As a token of their appreciation and respect, the staff presented a delightful cultural programme featuring music, dance, and other performances that added joy and warmth to the occasion. The cultural presentation served as a heartfelt tribute to the Founder Secretary's vision and legacy, providing an opportunity for the staff to express their gratitude for her invaluable contributions to education and society. The celebration was further enhanced by a delicious lunch served to all, fostering a spirit of togetherness and joy among the members of the institution.

The event concluded on a note of gratitude and celebration, reaffirming the institution's commitment to upholding the ideals and vision of its Founder Secretary while continuing to nurture excellence in education."A founder's vision becomes a lasting legacy when it continues to inspire generations."



World Environment Day 
June - 2026

Maruthi Vidyalaya State Wing enthusiastically celebrated World Environment Day, fostering awareness among students about the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable living. The celebration aimed to inspire students to become responsible custodians of the environment. A wide range of activities was organized to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and environmental consciousness. Students actively participated in eco-friendly art projects, elocution competitions, mask-making activities, debates, skits, essay writing, recycled art exhibitions, and poster-making competitions. Through these events, they expressed their ideas on protecting nature, reducing pollution, conserving resources, and adopting sustainable practices. A special pledge was taken by the students to protect the environment, reduce waste, and contribute towards building a cleaner and greener world. 

The programme emphasized that every individual has a role to play in preserving the planet and that even small actions can create a significant impact.The celebration served as a meaningful learning experience, encouraging students to develop a deeper appreciation for nature and a sense of responsibility towards the environment. The various activities not only enhanced their awareness but also empowered them to become active participants in environmental conservation. The event concluded with renewed enthusiasm and a collective commitment to environmental stewardship.
