International Yoga Day June - 2022
On behalf of
the MV Management and with blessing our Guruji Yogashree Vardhaman Kalasur,
World Yoga Day was Celebrated by welcome our New Yoga Guru Gayathri. It was celebrated at our school auditorium
on June 21st in the truest
spirit of health and wellness in commemoration of this ancient practise to
stay hale, healthy and have a
longevity of life. We began the
celebration by performing warm exercises and asanas such as Vrukshasan, Chakrasana which exercise very
organ of the human body. Students performed these Exercises with willingness
and diligence.
Our Principal addressed
the students outlining the ancient tradition of exercise, that is Yoga practise
dating back to 5000 years, the Bhagavad Gita period and motivated the students
to perform yoga everyday at home and make it a part of their routine.
Founder's Day June - 2022
Founder’s day, was celebrated at our school on 15th
June in true festive spirit. Students presented captivating videos comprising
skits, songs and dances in traditional
and modern costumes. They also wished our Secretary mam a happy and
prosperous birthday.
Our beloved Principal wished our Secretary mam long,
healthy and prosperous life on behalf of
all the teachers and staff of MV, ICSE . All the staff and students remembered
with pride and gratitude the beginning
of the revered Vidyalaya on the same day

World Environment Day June - 2022
The world environment day was celebrated in our school
on 5th June , 2022 In true
spirit of care and concern for our environment to create an awareness among everyone Students and teachers had dressed in green attire.
Students had brought seeds and saplings to sow and plant them in our school
campus. They had also made attractive and colourful charts comprising trees,
rivers and other national vegetation
found in our planet.
Our Principal
Mrs. Parimala . K appreciated the chart work done by our
students and exhorted them to strive to protect the environment. Principal,
Teachers and students promised together that they will protect our environment
by not wasting the paper, water, food and maintain
Cleanliness and make a world a much healthier and
happier place to live.
Re-opening of the school May, 2022
With the blessings of Almighty and our President Shri. Bhattu Ganesh & Founder Secretary Smt. Saroja Ganesh we began the New AY 2022 – 23 on Wednesday the 11th May for class 9 & 10 and 25th May for all the classes after the summer vacation.
Teachers and students reported to school to begin the Ay 2022 – 23 with vigour and renewed zeal. Teachers taught their students with passion and care to ensure that students understood the concepts and lessons clearly.
Class -X - Graduation Day April - 2022
With the blessings of the almighty, our President
Shri. Bhattu Ganesh Sharma & Secretary Smt. Saroja Ganesh, the Graduation
Day for the students of Class-10 for the AY 2021-22 was held on Monday, April 11,
2022 in the august presence of MV-ICSE staff.
Programmes for the day began with the ‘Lighting of the
Lamp’ by our Principal Mrs.Parimala K and Vice Principal Mrs.Sumathi S N. Invocation song by the teachers and the Invocation dance by our dear students
added real zeal and glitter to it.
Our dear Principal spoke about the Importance of the Day
– she emphasized what the day means after the end of the school academic life she
briefed our dear children about the beginning of their college life and life after,
the challenges that they will have to confront & surmount with their
indomitable will power & grit, and never to give up attitude but
continuously persevere to attain SUCCESS. She wished our dear students success
in their ICSE Board Exams and also for all their future endeavors.
Some students of Class-10 sang some real soulful songs
which were not just melodious but also emotional & entertaining and some
shared the experiences of their childhood years spent at Maruthi Vidyalaya ICSE.
Some performed group dance which truly left the teachers & staff spellbound
& mesmerized.
As always Lucky Girl and Boy for the AY 2021-2022 was
picked from the lot; Bhowan Gowda and Afra Fathima were the lucky students.
“May Good Luck follow you all today and throughout all
your examinations and always. Great accomplishments and success are our best
wishes for all of you today and beyond”. These were the wishes and blessings
given by our beloved President, Secretary
and all our dear teachers of MV.
Our Vice Principal concluded the day's programme by
proposing the Vote of Thanks. She thanked everyone for contributing their might
to host the programme successfully and also encouraged our students to strive
hard and put their best effort for the
Board Exam. She informed them that her good wishes will always be with them and wished them a bright future ahead.
Yet
another feather in the cap of MV for having garnered a sensitive, compassionate

Scouts
& Guides Summer Camp March
28-March 31, 2022
A four- day summer camp for the Scouts, Guides,
Cubs and Bulbuls was conducted at Maruthi Vidyalaya, ICSE, Horamavu Agara from
March 28-March31, 2022. The camp was jointly inaugurated by Shri Vardhaman
Kalasur, Secretary , Bharat Scouts & Guides, Banaswadi Local Association,
Mrs. Parimala.K, Principal, and Mrs. Sumathi. S.N, Vice Principal. Shri Vardhaman Kalasur then addressed the
young & vibrant Scouts and Guides and motivated them to participate
actively, interact and learn the basics of scouting from their scout masters
Suryanarayan and Siddappa in the summer camp. The Principal and Vice Principal
also inspired Scouts & Guides to
learn the various concepts of scouting and guiding. The camp began with the
chorus singing of the scout song ” Daya Kar Dhan Bhakti Ka”. On day 1, The Scouts & Guides were
taught the basic principles of scouting, Flag song, National Anthem, Symbols,
Salute, left hand shake, good turn, patrol system on the first day through
classroom sessions and activities comprising demonstrations & practise.
They were also made to write their log book.
On day 2, They were taught First Aid,
contents of a first box, bandages and their different types through classroom
explanation and demonstrated activities by our Staff Bhagya Devi, a qualified
First Aid trainer. They were also taught Estimation, Pioneering, -Knots, Lashings,
camp skills like making gadgets using staves.
On
day 3, They learnt about proficiency badges, compass and map reading, symbols,
digital scouting both through classroom interactions and practical demonstrations.
Some Scouts & Guides also entertained the camp participants with their
songs, acting and mimicry. On
day 4, An all faith prayer was conducted wherein hymns from different religions
like Hinduism, Christianity and Jainism were sung in chorus with devotion and
reverence. A cooking- without-fire demonstration was also conducted in which the
Scouts & Guides participated actively with zest & enthusiasm with team
spirit and prepared various dishes like chocolate sandwich, paneer sandwich,
coconut burfi, lemon juice, aloopuri and other chat items.
Thus the camp concluded on an enthusiastic
& memorable note on 31st March with the Scouts & Guides
longing for more such activities in the near future.
